This 3 hour class introduces
participants to the Spanish language, bare essentials of
communication and the use of our self study program: Tactical
Spanish for Law Enforcement Officers. Topics include:
Field Interview Questions, Traffic Stops, Domestic Violence. The
cultural awareness section of the course includes: Videos with food
and beverages for participants.
No
previous Spanish experience is required.

Accelerated
Spanish for Correctional Officers
Our 4 hour
class introduces participants to the Spanish language basics and the
use of our self study program: Tactical
Spanish for Correctional Officers. Topics include: Field Arrest Report, Intake Health
Screening, Strip Search, Housing Assessment. The cultural awareness
section of the course includes: Videos, food and beverages for
participants.
No
previous Spanish experience is required.

Participants
will receive our self study program “Tactical Spanish for
Correctional Officers”.
Introduction to Spanish Language and Culture
(8 hour
course)
Includes the bare essentials
needed to
communicate effectively in Spanish: Introduction to Latino Culture, Practical
phrases, Greetings, Commands, Completing Police Forms, Conducting an arrest and
Routine Traffic Stop. No previous Spanish experience required.
Street Spanish
(8 hour course)
In
this 4 hour class, participants will be introduced to the colloquial
words and expressions they hear “on the street” and behind their
backs!! Topics include: greetings, profanities, crime , sex, drugs,
gangs, etc.
The
target audience is officers with some Spanish language skills.

Profanities”.
Spanish for Law Enforcement
Officers I, II,
III ( three 20 hour courses)
Now is your opportunity to learn conversational Spanish the
same way you learned English - by hearing, repeating and asking
questions. Vocabulary and usage are tailored to your professional
needs to maximize the effectiveness of your investment. These courses are designed to
develop the basic language skills necessary to communicate effectively in
various Law Enforcement situations. Topics can be arranged or tailored according
to the needs of the participants.
Using these techniques you
learn to think and speak in
Spanish naturally. The emphasis is on oral skills. Grammar is acquired
naturally through use of the language in class using realistic
scenarios. During the classes, Hispanic culture, politics, social and
family values are explained in the context of current
events. No previous Spanish experience required.
