Teach Spanish to Correctional Officers - Instructor Guide

Some agencies prefer a more structured approach than self-study alone and so PSLT has developed and delivered instructor led courses where students each use the self-study materials Tactical Spanish for Correctional Officers and Tactical Spanish Slang and Profanities to support the classroom sessions, for homework assignments, exercises and as a refresher when the classroom sessions are complete. You can show leadership and help your department become self-sufficient in Spanish language training.

This Instructor Guide is designed to enable a bi-lingual officer to plan and lead  classroom sessions using the same techniques developed and used by PSLT with our existing clients and includes sample class schedules, homework assignments, guidance on evaluating students' mastery of the materials and access to the downloads section of our web site. Also included is two hours of individual coaching with the course developer, Alejandra Gómez, and certification by PSLT to teach Spanish for Correctional Officers.
